Increasing your team's performance

From recent research by Losade and Heaphy, published in American Behavioral Scientist in 2004, the relationship between being positive to each and performance is strongly linked. Where people treat each other with respect, trust is high, camaraderie, clear vision and goals, an expansive positive spaces were created. This in turn revealed more and more opportunities and options for taking action.

Conversely, in teams where there is low trust, little camaraderie, no clarity around roles, goals and vision for the team, there is a high propensity to be very self oriented in their interactions rather than looking for the best for the team as a whole.
