You examine what is working well and develop ways to improve
from the customer’s perspective. Your staff ask customers
about service, their goals and where the service can be developed.
This is used to develop improvements.
“Can I afford to do this”? Consider, what is it already
costing you in lost sales and opportunities, not to mention
profitability? The cost may be surprisingly low compared with
the impact our services can have on your business.

Employee engagement
You know yourself that when you are engaged with a topic,
you are creative, energetic and passionate about it. The last
thing you want to do is look for another job or move to another
activity.
Well,
all your employees behave exactly in the same way once they
are engaged. Your staff already knows how to improve customer
care, lower costs, streamline processes.
So, what is stopping your staff from
making those changes?
They need to gain access to their creativity and passion.
This
comes from thinking about, talking about and listening to
stories about when they were on top of the world, full of
energy, optimistic…. a peak experience with colleagues.
When people start in a new job, they have this energy, this
engagement. You can rekindle this and unlock the hidden wealth
in your organisation.
The "We can do it!"™ and Team Building workshops start this process.

Barrier-free working
Wouldn’t it be great to have everyone co-operating,
where colleagues see each other as sources of support and
information and spend time supporting, sharing with each other?
How
do you reduce conflict?
Well, when people are full of energy, positive and working
for the good of the organisation, there is co-operation rather
than conflict. By understanding that the other person is trying
to do his or her best means there is room for negotiation
and discussion.
People do not wake up in the morning determined to have a bad day,
to be miserable and be difficult with colleagues. People are
inherently positive and want a happy life.
Don’t
get us wrong, there will be times where conflict will arise.
As your staff are working together, have the listening skills
and common positive stories, they more readily address any
misunderstandings and miscommunications at the time. The office
grapevine changes so it no longer supports derisive chat and
gossip.
